As we manage through the unprecedented global COVID-19 pandemic, the health and safety of our XTREME COUTURE MMA GYM members and staff is our top priority; we are committed to keeping our people out of harm's way. To that end, our team has been hard at work preparing the gym for your return. We have developed detailed plans and safety protocols and will continue to update them in keeping with guidelines put forth by state and federal authorities as well as the CDC. These plans include enhanced cleaning measures, symptom screening, reduced class sizes and a mobile check-in system. Things are going to look a bit different as we ease our way toward a new normal but we’re doing our best to make sure the changes are for the better and we look forward to serving you again very soon. For more information on the novel coronavirus and COVID-19, please visit the Centers for Disease Control.
The gym will open to the public June 1, 2020.
An email went out to our members on 5/31 about our new procedures, guidelines, instructions and also recommendations from public health officials and Governor Sisolak.
All memberships have been placed on hold status since March 19. As restrictions are lifted, we will post updates on how memberships will be handled during the phased reopening. Once we’re able to return to full operation, existing rates, discounts and special offers will be honored for all those who have kept up with their hold fees throughout the closure.
All class times will be temporarily reduced to 45 minutes to allow proper cleaning and disinfecting of the training area and equipment prior to the start of the next class.
All members and staff will be required to wash their hands upon entering the gym and encouraged to do so frequently while on the premises.
Hand sanitizing stations will be located throughout the gym and will be clearly marked
All trainers will be accountable for pre-use and post-use wipe down and disinfectant protocol on any equipment used.
Once the gym is allowed to open, class sizes will be limited to comply with government imposed occupancy limits and to allow for social distancing guidelines to be maintained.
Members will be required to reserve a spot in class prior to arrival at the gym either via our newly updated mobile check-in site or by calling the front desk. If you arrive early for your class, we ask that you wait outside until 5 minutes prior to class start time to avoid crowding the lobby and seating areas. No one will be permitted to train without a reservation and there will be no open mat times during the initial phase of reopening.
Each individual will be temperature screened with a no-touch thermometer upon entering the building. Anyone with a temperature of 100.4 degrees or higher will be sent home.
All XCMMA staff will be required to wear PPE face coverings during gym operation and members are strongly encouraged to do the same.
Increased hygiene practices--frequent hand washing, avoiding touching the face, nose and mouth, practicing good respiratory etiquette when coughing or sneezing—will be strongly encouraged.
Staff and members will be prohibited from congregating in common areas and capacity of such areas will be limited to allow for safe social distancing of at least 6 feet between individuals.
A strict stay at home policy will be in place for anyone exhibiting symptoms of illness. Such persons will be permitted back only after at least 3 days have passed since symptoms subsided AND at least 10 days have passed since symptoms first appeared.
In the event that any member or staff test positive for COVID-19, they will not be permitted back to training until the above conditions are met AND they can provide negative test results to show they no longer pose a risk of spreading the illness. We also ask that these individuals assist us in identifying potential exposures to other staff and members.
Any member or staff who has been confirmed to have been exposed to a COVID-19 positive individual will not be allowed back on site until they have followed the CDC recommended 14 days of isolation to ensure that they don’t develop symptoms and further spread the illness.
We can’t wait to get back to providing you the highest level of martial arts and fitness training but are committed to doing so in the safest possible way. If you or someone in your household are at high risk for severe illness due to COVID-19 as identified by the CDC, we strongly recommend that you take extra precautions or refrain from using the facility during the initial phases of reopening.
